Packing has been extremely difficult; more so for LeeAnn. She tried to pack for every situation and change in t
emperature. Reality check was that two fifty pound bags does not allow for a lot of room! LeeAnn had two fifty pound bags of clothes, forgetting she needed to put in shoes, ministry supplies, curriculum, computer stuff etc... Preston on the other hand had one bag of clothes. As you can see from the pictures, we completely wrecked the house. (Please note: All the stuff in the dining room is LeeAnn's - Preston packed in the bedroom).

Space Bags are Awesome
We will have extremely wrinkly clothes when we arrive in NZ being packed in these bags for two weeks; but they are well worth it. After sucking the life (air) out of our clothes, we lost about a pound on each space bag; and they were more compressed for packing.

Initially after sucking the life out of her stuff, LeeAnn managed to pack 73 pounds in one suitcase. Space bags make more room, but not necessarily less weight. Due to the initial weight issue; reinforcement Preston stepped in to take over. Meanwhile LeeAnn tried to guard her bag, by standing on top, but she lost.

How did we come to this ONE bag at 43 pounds?
* Preston went through what LeeAnn THOUGHT she had packed and illuminated 10 pounds of winter clothes.
Verdict = LeeAnn can't pack without Preston.
