We are Married!
May has been one exciting month and it has gone by very fast. We got married on Saturday, May 10th and it was the best day of our lives. The wedding was a blast, the weather was gorgeous and God provided us with a beautiful day of uniting in marriage. It was so great to be surrounded by so many people who love and support us; and it was such a blessing to be surrounded by our friends and have them standing with us in the bridal party. Our reception was certainly a party never to be forgotten, and all the love shared on that day will be in our hearts forever.

Since the wedding we honeymooned for a week at an all-inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, and following that we have vacationed in Atlanta with LeeAnn’s family as a last goodbye before we depart for the mission field. Just two days after the family vacation we will be embarking on our final field preparations with our last YFC training.

Summer Institute Training
June 2-13th we will be at Summer Institute, our last YFC training, in Ft. Wayne Indiana. This training will be ten days of final pre-field preparation, preparing us to journey across the country, deal with culture shock, pray with other missionaries, and allow God to prepare our hearts for this amazing opportunity to serve him.

Leaving for the Field
We are ecstatic to inform you that our names have been sent to the reservations department for NZ airline tickets with a projected leave date of July 8th or 9th. We are currently at 97% of being fully funded, and therefore are on the hunt for discounted tickets. When we find a good price for our airfare our agent will be able to hold it for 10 days while we get in our remaining funding. We are not allowed to book our tickets until our remaining 3% of funding is met. However, we are very hopeful that with the grace of God and your support the remaining funding will not be a problem.
In helping to cut down on our funding, at this time we can also accept airline miles. Total miles needed for one ticket to get to NZ from Charlotte are 50,000 miles. If you are interested in helping to support us in this manner please contact us immediately.

Thank you for your support!!
Thank you to all those faithfully supporting us through your prayers and financial gifts. None of our ministry in NZ would be able to happen without faithful financial supporters. Thank you to all those who are supporting us on a monthly basis; if you haven’t already done so please begin paying on your pledge at the beginning of June and continue paying until July 2009.
If you have been praying about ways to help support us, we would like to invite you to become a part of our financial support team to help us meet our final funding needs. Please prayerfully consider making a first or additional one time gift to the ministry or becoming a monthly sponsor through supporting us with a monthly donation in any amount. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement to us in this amazing journey with Christ to minister to his people across the world. We look forward to writing back next month about our final trip preparations and the different ways we will be keeping in contact with you when we depart. Please continue to pray for the ministry and our funding needs. Grace & Peace
